Poirier Threewheeler
« on: February 23, 2013, 09:01:58 PM »
I missed this unusual three wheeler when the auction was 'live'. For sale in the Netherlands was a Poirier of about 1946 from France. Has anyone else ever seen one?

Richard seat as of a few weeks ago, Wilksie!

Horrid? I begin to wonder if you did not suffer a traumatizing experience when you were a young pram mounted ankle biter, Bob. There seems to be a thread of pramesque dislike of vehicles and associated helplessness. I would blame Wurther's Originals if they actually were not replica sweeties valued as the real thing, damned GRP sweets. Perhaps I could point you towards to many Callard and Bowser Cream Lined Toffees instead?

Well you may have a point Al. I was a nervous child, my mother had to feed me soft spearmint toffees to get me to the clinic for my weekly verruca trimming treatment. I dont remember falling out of any prams or ugly three wheeled conveyances though. Wish I could find out if those toffees were still available .

Crumbago. I remember spearment toffees, too. No brand name registers, though, unless Murrays?

Big Al, I don't think it was an experience in a pram but falling off a moped into some cabbages that did it! ;D
