I have not seen them before so I think they are later additions

Typical badges from the 50/60th, Accessories to decorate your car or moped, to give it  a personal look.
These parts were never been fitted by the factory.

I have a couple of those stars somewhere. It was an aftermarket fashion accessory. I have had a schmitt with the on too. On the boot like fly pottery ducks. THe badge, no idea but there were local clubs back in the day.

Anyone remember the fake bullet holes you could buy. These were reasonably popular on bubblecars.

You are talking about REGENT petrol . with a tank full or whatever you would get a set of stickers with the  REGENT logo and 4 or 5 " bullet holes" . our local garage being REGENT our mini traveller was plastered with the things

Ah, that will be why we had them. Used to be a Regent petrol station and conjoined Pub out at Littleworth. The petrol part has long since vanished, then the pub turned into various forms of pub eatery till it is now an out of town curry house and not a pub. The favoured garage was the JET one as it was the cheapest/best quality. 'We joined the Jet set' and had loads of playing cards etc.
