Bond wheel nuts bolts
« on: April 11, 2013, 05:56:32 PM »
Hi all,
Quick question just taken off the wheels on my restorarion project a 1963 Bond Minicar MKG and a couple of the wheel nuts /studs are missing, are they a standard size and type or are they from an older car of that time.
Had Bond Minicar MKG in 1967 never forget your first car so just had to get enougher one now and restore it

I am not a member of the the Wheel Nut and Stud Club either. I belong to the opposing break away Spline and Knock on Association of Briton, or SKAB.

Well I forgot what it looked like as I thought the thread was tighter than that. 'Twas a long time ago. I will look in my boxes of misc fastners as it is the sort of thing that might be in there.

Mike at Bond Spares has MkG wheel studs and nuts in stock.  Bought some from him last year at the BOC rally for my MkG Estate.

Yes that's far too easy though and you have to join the club . Some people like a harder hobby  :)

Are these identicle to Nobel lugs?
Also, I am still looking for some Nobel wheels to make my 4 wheeler Nobel complete, and get spares for my other three wheelers.
What would one have to do to adapt a Bond wheel to a six holed Nobel duty?
If this is indeed do able- where can I get Bond wheels?

I hope that I don't need to join the Bond club, as I have no Bond vehicles
