Free (ish) Microcar Books
« on: May 12, 2013, 06:50:01 PM »
I’m ‘downsizing’ and it seems a shame to give speciality books to Oxfam, so they’re up for grabs here.

For a bit of fairness, anyone can ask by private message for one particular book and more or less the first one gets it.  Asking for more than one, or for any book, gets none.

I will post it to you, but the deal is you promise that when the book arrives you look at the postage, add a quid for packing and then give at least that sum to any charity you like.  I do not recognise your local publican’s retirement fund, nor your microcar club’s spares register as charities…. If you sell them on, you promise to give that money to charity too.

I guess this is a UK-only offer as otherwise the postage might get a bit extreme.  I won’t know if you do this, but as you would effectively be stealing from a charity if you don’t do it, eternal damnation seems a likely outcome.

Probably the cream of the crop is this period owner’s operation/maintenance guide on Schmitts, Trojans and Isettas.

Fair enough - that's all books taken.

Of course a jest my friend . Meant to be a flippant remark about your mis-spelt remarks just previously. Nothing meant really

Hi Andrew, in return for the books, of which I gracefully received from you, I have donated £20.00 to the BHF as my wife suffers from heart failure. And when I have finished reading I will donate the books also, of which tey will sell them for £3.00 each making a total of £32.00 donated to the British heart foundation
I hope you are in agreement with this, as this is the charity run I am doing next year in a reliant/ hopefully Berkeley

When you have finished reading them, I would like to buy them from you at £12 plus postage.
When finished I would like to sell them and donate the proceeds to BHF.

And so-on?

An even more brilliant idea
But you must make the donation to the BHF that is my choice, then you ask te next person to a charity of your choice
Agreed
That way, a few charities will benifit.
