Welcome Keith

Sounds interesting but with an Invalid carriage you may be banished to the off-topic lounge..................................(I am an Invacar man)

Stuart Cyphus is your main contact for all things invalid.

The Daf600 is a microcar and so is a citroen 2CV.  An argson is an invalid carriage.

Argson's are or were microcars for the incapacitated, so don't you forget that Purton. You are lucky to have mobility!

and we haven't been discussing 600cc DAF's or Citroen 2CV's either so stick that where the sun don't shine - i.e. anywhere in Britain today - is that why we're all online ?  :)

Ohh eck!! I'm in hot water here!  Just looked at my "kettle" [kettle and hob, fob, alright, WATCH!]
I'm late for band practice, as he speedily retreats followed by a stream of invalids waving there crutches!  :o)

Sorry not allowed to comment on these pictures, nor IC, number plate queries relating to or in general and 2CV, which I did not mention, so I get a small star.  Good luck with your Argson but I fear Stuart has already told you the bad news about spares availability from what he told me several days ago. There are no known spares resources beyond your own endeavors or finding a scrap donor machine. Probably get told off for saying it but I could not help helping even if it did not help. Keith:  Argson parts are scarce, albeit all IC parts.  They were over-engineered so what is there is probably still good or restorable.  If parts are missing which are proprietary, then most likely only available from scavenging an existing vehicle, if it exists, and in itself not restorable.  Other parts such as motors, bearings, tyres, lights, wiring, simple switches, upholstery, including paintwork or colour, readily available.  I am willing to give you assistance as needed.  Good luck with the project.  Every vehicle, whatever the type, style or original purpose has a history and in it's own right should be preserved.  The argument you find in this venue, is "Does it fit RumCars?"  They did once.  Ian.... :)     Yours is an electric model, even though Argson also made petroil ones as well over the years.

Hi Keith,  You need to make contact with Stuart Cyphus who is the one person that has the most information on Invalid Cars as he took them over from RUMCARS and they now have a Register in their own right.  His email address is invacar@yahoo.co.uk   Jean
