Willam purchase.
« on: March 09, 2007, 07:12:28 PM »
Hello everyone. I can now reveal that it was I who purchased inacoma's unwanted Willam City. I collected it this afternoon from Dorset and can I say what a pleasure it was to meet John and aquire this funny little car. I cant believe how well made these cars are what with having a proper rear axle with diff and a real car gearbox not to mention the hydrolic brakes all round. Its a restoration project with some rust around the battery tray area and window channel but basicly a solid body. Does anyone know much about Willams? I think I recognise some fiat 500 parts. Does anyone have a manual for one? Any contact about this would be welcome. Thanks again John.

Don't know if these are any good as you're probably after a workshop manual. Willam owners manuals on ebay, 1 in French item: 320088011710 and 2 others in Italian, item: 320088011746 and item: 320088011785.

Hi Bob

Nice to meet you too. If this car gets restored to the condition of your Schmidt. then you will have another show winner.

Anyone want an Addax, even better knick than the Willam, advert in the mag soon and then onto Ebay if no club takers.

Bargain at £699, but just want to get some of my trip expenses back, before wife starts doing the maths.

All the best

John
