That is the image I was thinking of and there is the correct mirror. It is very similar to early Isetta, Zundapp too I think. The head has a strange pimple on it though. None the less it is light, delicate of design and indeed mounts in a place where it will not leak water through a ruddy great hole. Being so sensible no one really copies it but goes for the big hole option. Hey ho!

The interior mirror was a farce. I can understand why folk do not use them.

I like this one: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Classic-Wing-Mirror-Springback-Wing-Mirror-Convex-Glass-/290473237436

Has an arm with an angle though. I have the hole in the body for the mirror under 1/4 light. Mirror on image has a straight arm. Might that cause a problem?

Desmo Boomerang replica is still available. Has rounder lense more in keeping with the rounder lines of the Treinkel. I think they are £45 from the outfit in London, Edge Hill, or whatever their name is. So an eBay less than that is of interest. It is about the biggest hole in a wing though! Some of these look a likes have none spring mounting. Great if they are in an area unlikely to get knocked. Not convinced a wing mount on a Trojan is that position. Would it get bent? As soon as you have the spring mount you have a large hole. I would hold off and see what else is available, though I guess you need something to be legal on the road, bringing the pressure on for a choice.
