Ormskirk Motorfest 2013
« on: August 28, 2013, 12:57:45 PM »
We had a tidy turnout of microcars at the Ormskirk Motorfest on 25th September, thanks to Alan Town's persistence in co-ordinating owners from the north-west region.

Ten of the hoped fourteen cars made it along in glorious sunshine, and received a very enthusiastic reception from the massive crowds at both the static display and on the three parade laps around Ormskirk.

Enjoy the photos (which I must credit to others; my own were useless!)

25th September?     Now I know why I didn't get any cards or presents on my Birthday, the 16th. Or have I been on a long sleep and missed it?  ;D

Great turn out though.

Quite a turnout. I like the way the festival promotes the town and visa versa.

tell us more Mike . what else was involved vehicle wise , it looks a really good day out - and oop north too . a real pity i could not have been there . it clashed with Cheshire Micr-Car Rally only 30 or so miles further south which is a shame ( didn't make that either ) that is run by dave pickering of the bond bugs - it looks as if they would have enjoyed this too .
