Does anyone here know where I may find new old stock or really excellent condition Winguard tail lamps as fitted to the Heinkel I?

i think you mean WINGARD not wingUard ( though sellers often use both spellings as buyers get this wrong )  - are these the ones used on Lotus ? from £100 to £200 a pair

Pardon my ignorance.  The correct spelling makes all the difference as I found these:  http://www.simplesevens.com/forsale/Painter/PainterParts.htm

I am not too keen on the plastic bases though.  Does anyone here have the the metal bases only in good condition that they would consider selling?
