According to Deutsch Kleinwagen, Brutsch went to the Hannover Toy Fair in 1950 to show off the miniature racing car he'd desigined for millionaires children, but got very few serious enquiries. He'd already had in mind the idea of making something bigger and was inspired to build a single seat road car after seeing the tires on a Lambretta scooter at the same fair.

This car was built in 1950 and originally had a 125cc NSU engine with a centrifugal clutch, the body was created by a company called Wendler and the wheels came from a hand-truck.
The clutch proved fragile and the NSU engine was replaced soon after by a Baker & Polling 250cc unit from a chainsaw, also with a centrifugal clutch. This engine also gave problems and the further work on the car was abandonded. It only appeared at one show.
