It's true what he was saying, and of course the original car just bombed because of it.

And LeRoy Newbury used to be the CIA's top bod on European Industry, well he thought he was, so we know he must be right. Just like we all know that Fort Knox is full of American owned gold except no one has bothered counting, or testing, it for over 60 year, well pretty much since it was stolen from the American Citizens in the first place, actually. The expert spokesman -'Trust me I know what I am talking about'. Cattermites one and all. Still, on the bright side, plenty of room at Fort Knox for all the expensive microcars. And with a bit of luck Mr Newbury as well.

Chortle! "Small companies".....Messerschmitt SMALL?! Next we'll be hearing about "no reverse gears"!
I once heard similar twaddle from a man who pronounced it "Measure-smith".

Actually Al, I think Fort Worth is no longer the US gold repository, it still holds some reserve but the bulk is in a new place whose name I forget.

No need to be "politically correct" on this forum.
You would be about 90% correct by spelling the place as CHINA.

Welcome back Super Hero #2- we all missed you!

China - minus tungston ;D. Fort Worthless :o?  Not enough left to give the German's theirs back ???.

Meanwhile I search for the resting place of a Merramitt. My particular hate is Messerschmidt, very often used by folk who profess status with borrowed money.
