Peel P50 parts
« on: June 21, 2014, 05:16:07 PM »
I am trying to get the peel ready to go to the Isle Of Man, but I need some bits and I wondered if anyone knows where I can get these bits from. :) ;)

-x3 new peel tires  (3.50-5)
-new brakes x3
-6 volt bike battery to  fit
-petrol tank fuel line
-new engine oil
-new windscreen wiper blade and motor

I would be really grateful if anyone could help me on my quest for parts. ;D ;D ;D

Avon tyres are completely unobtainable new, regardless of the whispers put about by some folk.  ;) Most five-inch tyres in the UK are all wheelbarrow-type tread, slicks or mobility scooter tyres, so for (more or less) authentic road-going knobblies, you have to cast your net to America.

Head over to eBay.com and search for "3.50 x 5 tire", and behold the choices...  :)   I used Kendra 4.10/3.50 x 5's, at the equivalent (four years ago) of £7.50 each.
