Self-aligning hinges are still available today from bodybuilding supply companies, though maybe only in larger sizes than were used on microcars:

All this interest in Frisky hinges, amazing.
The info in Frisky Tech Misc says

"Door Hinges   (note they are handed)    were used on cab doors of buses coaches etc but no longer available new.
But you can get replacement ball bolt and spring that are normally enough to rebuild worn hinges Try David Jones [davidjones@Carlyleplc.co.uk] www.carlylepic.co.uk who used to supply them.
Parts     43.025 pin 51mm, 43.006 pin 58mm, 43.005  ball, 43.009 lock tab,
43.011 spring, 43.0101 nut

The Tech misc on the site is long out of date, up to date copies are available FOC to all Frisky owners and offer the experience of those who have trodden the path before
John

Photo below shows the hinges in situ note top and bottom are different

I just stopped and took pictures of the top half of the hinges but John beat me to post them. The set on eBay without the holes look like a possible alter to fit.

I would hold out for finer castings as you aren't in a hurry , I do think they look a bit agricultural

You are not missing any fibreglass as the parcel shelves are bolted in separately. See my blue sport.

Malcolm did your Sport have a metal channel on the floor bolted thru the fiberglass to the mounts on the frame? We have one on our Sport. Will ask John to see if this original.

Mark. There are two metal channels that support the body and are between the rubber mounts and the underside of the body with one channel pointed up and the other down. Well that is how it has been on all the six friskies i have ever owned.
