Peels to Peel
« on: July 31, 2014, 08:28:03 PM »
we made it to the isle of Man with no problems, we bumped into Andy Hillman while waiting for the ferry. The crossing took three hours and we were delayed by one hour because of a problem with the ferry. :( ::)

I have a provisional licence and insurance, so it is fine to drive it on the road. I wasn't sure whether to put 'L' plates on it, but one i am required to and two everyone thinks it would be funnier. ;D ;D :P

Having said that, having known Stuart for what must be over 10 years now,all probably isn't what it seems and he probably has managed to net himself a real one

No Richard, I think they used Rugby ones instead. Two ways of scoring in that game, differing points awarded though. Besides I do not think a fleet of U boats and the Luftwaffe would have kept Root away from the Isle of Man. He was even talking about bringing one of the cats back!

Thanks Dodger. I enjoyed that, especially the footage of the P50 on the open road darting about.
Congratulations to Grant for organising the event.
You still haven't told us what happen to yours, or is it too painful to talk about?
