Dose any one know what color grey the pedal box should be, and what grey should the reflector surrounds be? ;D

Trust you have a steel one, as nice though those shed doors are, the Countryman effect is not really very practical.  ;D

looking at your pics and suggestions are you going for grey everything ? perhaps seat covers in a light and dark grey ? i always had the pedal box a black gloss with the big pale  blue ATE sticker next the brake cylinder , reflector surrounds ? do you mean back lights ?? plain silver on mine . i believe i had them both correct but ......

We got our new brake lines today, and I believe they are off of a mica or something like that. They only cost £8.50 each! ;D

Rear lights are indeed silver and were originally painted rather poorly. Easy to improve on that. The master cylinder cover is commonly painted black but I think in the 175 was grey to match the leading edge of the vinyl on the seat and grey coated millboard interior panels. The steering column and such not being black either in this case. The seat itself would be vinyl and rexene for very early cars, giving way to a sort of cross hatched cloth in a background weave, not dissimilar to the Nobel but of more muted hues, to match the body colour. It would think your car would use this as would mine being near crossover to 200cc. It was NOT tartan. My own car has optional extra Lizard skin interior, a bit of an acquired taste but it goes with the other bling on the car.

Mine is the same as Sea Green for NSU of the time. That could be called Turquoise. In some cases touch up paint is NSU paint tins with an overlabel for Trojan. A crafty bit of later marketing.

Paint suppliers can colour match if you have a panel with some of the original paint.
