WANTED: DIFF/ AXLE OR ADVICE - 1965 LAMBRETTA LAMBRO
« on: March 30, 2007, 02:24:39 PM »
1965 LAMBRETTA LAMBRO fli 175 Mark 2

Does anyone have any experience with Lambros?

The diff is chewed up and teeth taken off. Easiest solution would be a new diff or axle.

Any ideas if anything else fits that's commericlaly available?

eg Piaggio Ape?

Thanks,

Colin

Hi Colin. Does the Lambro have a fixed axle? If so the Ape 50 set up is no good to you as it uses a pair of floating axles with constant velocity joints. I have a Willam which was made by Lambretta and that has a fixed axle just like a cor of the period onlt much smaller. Do you have a photo?  REgards, Bob
