Remember this one, yes Dave it is 1986 Morecambe, the first one since 1967, here goes with more anorak stuff.

762 MAR - yellow G Saloon, Trevor Chitty
669 KKJ - green F Tourer, Stan the man
269 HBF - maroon G Estate, Grenville Taylor
VJG 452 - red F Saloon, Nick Mander (well done Richard!)
100% correct, obviously too easy for those with superior Bond knowledge.  Sorry about the picture quality and thanks to Barry
for the improvements.
Here is another on the G Tourer theme.  A rather well known example that has 'done the rounds' over the years.  Big Al, note the registration  ;)
But what about the Mark B ??

A Mk B with a door??

(Which perhaps also explains what appears to be some added "chassis" strengthening.)

Ah yes, EKN 113C (P/10/43106RC) this was purchased in 1974 by my friend Robin (the one who collected all the Bond data that I quote here) from Michal Porter for 20 quid. Has since been seen with Tony Smith and Ken Bell. This car was supplied new by Bernard Dimond of Dartford and is seen new at Morecambe on the cover of a Bond magazine of the period as well as the club videos. EKN115C & EKN116C were also G Tourers.

The Mark B TPU 910 (C/11/2385) was restored decades ago by Tony Searle who still has this car and loads of other stuff.

Keep them coming - NC

After the red C Tourer I had for 3 days, before I was made an offer I could not refuse by a Brum chum, the Mk G Tourer was something I probably should have kept, or at least driven for a season.

OK a couple of mysteries for you.

Anything on 963 BBO, a Mk G

A rare MkF (?) van L726594RV. I hope it is restored and well.
Messerschmitt set, Goggo Darts, Heinkel 175, Fiat Jolly, Autobianchi, Fairthorpe Electron Minor, Borgward, Isuzu Trooper
Citroen BX 17TZD & GTI 16v
Held - MG Magnette ZB & 4/44
For sale - Vellam Isetta, Bamby, AC Type 70, Velorex, Church Pod, Reliant Mk5, KR200,  Saab 96, Bellemy Trials, Citroen BXs

Just a thought. Could the green "Mk B" really be an early Mk C, with door, front wings removed and fitted with a bodged front end from a B? The bonnet seems a bad fit plus the lumpy bits holding it up.

The chassis number NC quotes places it as a B.  Also, I can't imagine anyone going through the faff of conversion fron C to fake B - you'd lose the nice turning ability, and have to revert to the B-type suspension to get engine and drive within the shorter bonnet, wouldn't you?

According to records first Bond B with door was C/11/2396 so was this restored back to original as it never started life with a door?

So this is the same month and only 8 before the official first door was it an option earlier ? Talk about faff , welding up the door must have been a job and a half ! Of course homemade doors were not unheard of , John Hodgsons A has one
