Kidderminster Microcar weekend possiblity 15/16th August

This sounds like it could be a good event for those into this scene. Certainly possible to make a weekend out of it if you take in the music element.

Severn Valley Railway 1960s Weekend 2015?
Dear Classic Vehicle owners,

This year, the Severn Valley Railway is celebrating it's 50th anniversary
so I write to you to inform you that we shall be holding a special 1960s theme weekend. This event will be
taking place on the 15th & 16th August 2015.

I am seeking classic vehicles from the era to join in with our displays at
the following stations:

At Kidderminster:
We are looking to display salloon cars on our station fortcourt and micro
cars under our station canopy.

At Bewdley:
HGVs and commercial vehicles will be welcome to take part in a display at
Bewdley station, where we are hoping to create an Industrial themed
display.

At Highley:
We have 3 replica Italian Job Minis on display in our Engine House visitor
centre. So, if you own a Mini, this may be the venue for you...?
Other verities of classic cars will be welcome here in our station yard
area.

At Bridgnorth, we are looking to have a gathering of Morris Minors as this
fits the space we have rather well.

All display areas will be on a first come - first serve basis on the day.

Owners wishing to take part will receive a special discount rate for train
travel on the day they attend for themselves and for one passenger. This
will be Child Member rate (£8 for a freedom of the line train ticket -
bargin!)

Those wishing to take part in this event (either one day or both!), please
contact me so we can get you booked in to our main displays. If possible,
please reply by email and if you can, supply a photo (Jpeg) of your
vehicle.

Evening concerts shall be taking place on Friday & Saturday night at
Kidderminster station. Friday night, we have a Rolling Stones tribute band performing.
Saturday night, we have a Who tribute band and late night disco.
Tickets for these concerts will be going on sale after Easter. These can be
purchased from our webite,
www.svr.co.uk or by calling our offices on Tel: 01562 757900

Classic car owners wishing to attend our evening concerts at Kidderminster
will be welcome to park their 60s vehicle on our station forecourt.

Some other details:
•Vehicles from dating from 1959 to 1969 will only be accepted.
•Only vehicles that have been booked in for the event will receive the
discount travel offer.
•We shall do our best to fit you in at the Station of your choice.
•Closing date for entries, 1st August 2015.
