Here is a comment to me from Tony Marshall:

Hello Jean,

I am not aware of Rytecraft cars being made in Italy.  MWW makes no mention of an Italian connection in his Old Motor article of 1967, and as he knew Jack Shillan who was the boss of British Motor Boat Manufacturing Company (Rytecraft was a subsidiary), he was in a position to know the details.  It seems unlikely to me.  Perhaps there was something that was not remembered, or perhaps it was a copy.

Tony

So I would say buyer beware!
