RUMCAR NEWS No 126 - Autumn Issue
« on: September 10, 2015, 07:35:39 PM »
The Autumn issue is in the post, who will receive it first?
Another bumper issue with all the regular items plus reports from a sunny Manressa and a soggy Hammond Collection Open Day, another instalment on Modern Micros featuring the Aixam and some interesting electric vehicles.  Thanks to Chris for another fact packed edition.  I hope you all enjoy your read and remember we do want to know what you like and what you don't.  As usual Chris would welcome your input with open arms so that it becomes much more ' your magazine'.

I can't work out the Brockbank cartoon ,I usually enjoy these but can't see the humour this time . Did you have to be there ? Did it relate to something current ? A new model or what ? I take it as being related to appearance at or success at a trade show or motor show ? But when and why ?

Dear Richard

None of the Brockbank images I have are dated so I do not know what prompted this cartoon.

Not knowing the background I still think it is amusing.

Possible front cover for Chris - colourful , not to large , could reproduce and a possible source of advertising revenue . RUM unleashed ! Having seen the post its gone landscape though taken in portrait - sure the printer could sort it

Dear Richard

I think we could possibly have them under copyright law for incorrect use of a trade name.

We have never been unleashed!!!
