Scooters in Paris
« on: February 08, 2016, 09:52:30 PM »
I have been sent the following link by our old friend Jean Do

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-qTpi4lOHTk

The start is a bit slow but it gets going and is very good. Look out for the usual Jean Do appearance with his Bernadet.

Don't miss the microcars in the middle.

Excellent video! Great fun and reminds me that I really want to visit Paris again!

There was a very nicely restored black Maicomobile similar to the one in the video at the Shepton Bike show last week along with an extraordinary Japanese Scooter with tail fins - sadly I left my camera at home. Anyone know what it was?

Hi Dave , that top one really looks more like a merry go round scooter that someones put a lawnmower engine in ? Do you think ?

Good try, but it was more angular 50s Japanese styling than 57 Chevy!

Nice photos folks! Cannot help thinking that some of their designers might have experimented with, er, recreational pharmaceuticals!
