The photo could be quite interesting on a local history point . The photo is titled Woodchurch Road widening , June 16th 1929 . In July and August 1929 the world scout jamboree was at Arrowe park with 30,000 scouts and 300,000 visitors , previously the area had been very rural with a poor road and this , now main commuter route to the motorway , was obviously not deemed up to the job and so was widened and properly surfaced by great grandad . By 1931 he and his sons had bought those three brand new cars and I think business was on the up 😏
