Thanks for that HubNut

I can see that you have got the bug.  Hope you are not married?  You won't be for long :)

I am, and she's extremely excited about the Invacars too. She thinks they look lovely. Good job I'm getting two then...

That's a great video Ian. It was so murky on the day and I've not seen that part of Sussex looking like that in a long while - I feel it actually adds to the video and, of course, it will be beautifully sunny in Wales when the repaired and conserved Invacar is re revealed come the Spring (!).

Ha! I can live in hope!

I've started a new thread to specifically discuss my cars. http://rumcars.org/forum/index.php?topic=5501.0

Barry, I like your trailer's tail lights.  I think that they are way too big for my Tiehol Citadiene.
But please do  me the favor of measuring them, as I like the look of them turned 90 degrees.
Not my trailer Steven, just one that Mark hired I think.
Steven, the trailer is a Brian James and was hired, however the rear lights are made by Aspock and can be found here - http://www.trailertek.com/trailer-parts/lighting/rear-lights/aspock-earpoint-iv-rear-lamp-lh-with-fog-and-reverse
And here http://www.trailertek.com/trailer-parts/lighting/rear-lights/aspock-earpoint-iv-rear-lamp-rh-with-fog-reverse

Trailertec Ltd sell much else besides when it comes to automotive lighting - http://www.trailertek.com/trailer-parts/lighting

Thanks Mark,
I enjoyed browsing through  some of the fascinating futuristic styles of taillights to be found in there.
I only wish that one that I liked was small enough to replace the approximately cigarrette pack size crappy French trailer tail lights that came on my Tiehol Citadiene.

Now that's a funky little trailer!

It is indeed, Ian. I bought it specifically to take Barry’s former Invacar to events and shows next year. The total capacity of 750kg less the trailer weight of 135kg leaves plenty for a model 70. It can be towed by most cars, the width is perfect and the wheels “just” fit on the bed lengthwise. I’m ok with the overhang, others mightn’t be.  It comes with metal mudguards but mine need fitting again after the guys assembling it at The Trailer Warehouse overtightened the fixing bolts to the rivnuts!

It’s a bare chassis by Lider Trailers (French) model No 32810 and it even tilts. I will eventually get round to fitting full boards or channels but for the minute it works well with a ‘pad’ for each wheel and boards as ramps back at base for offloading. Sadly this model is being discontinued due to insufficient units being sold....
