That's £35,336.05 using todays rate.  It's a bit sterile.

A Weiner car he no longer required.     That's big big money.  Someone got carried away on the vino!  Or is that what our US friends happily pay?  Maybe £35k will seem cheap in 10 years?

Micros, the quirky entry level way into classic cardom is no longer the case.   As fuel goes up perhaps micros will climb to exhalted heights?.

Mr Janecek?

As an owner of a lot of Schmitts I think it is underpriced.

Microcars are no longer entry level and have not been for sometime. It does not get away from it being a cul de sac of automotive technology and I am thinking that many potential owners will bypass the option as the values now apparant mean there are better buys out there. Thus we are driven into the world of the collector and the day he looses interest.....

............... another one comes along.

Who does not remember or is even aware of the time when they were skip fodder.

I think American collectors will pay whatever it takes in the future. UK types are luddites.

Anyway it's only money!  lust and desire make grown men act in strange ways!
