Post by: Ollie on June 03, 2010, 11:04:22 PM
Hello All,
I'm a little confused to which is the correct form i need to get from the DVLA
to apply for an age related English registration for my Dutch kr200.(still has
its Dutch title and original log book)
Can any one shine some light on the subject please.
 Kind regards
 Ollie

Hi Ollie. I just had the same querie about registering my Motobi from Italy. I spoke to a nice Welsh girl at Swansea and the form she sent me was a V55/5. Hope this helps.   Bob.

My experience of Swansea is that they are very helpful, especially when dealing with interestingly unusual vehicles or changes (as long as they are bona fide ones!). I think I used a V55/5 when registering my old Velorex, and a nice Welsh woman at Swansea was very helpful, telling me that I had to go to HM Customs to pay import duty and to go to the local office too. I was very pleasantly surprised that despite there being quite a few steps to do, at each stage and office the staff were helpful.
