unmolested KR200 on ebay
« on: April 10, 2014, 05:40:06 PM »
There is a nice unmolested KR200 on eBay. A yellow 1960 that works and looks complete. Its at £10K but with 28 bidders the sky is the limit. To think i sold mine 8 years ago for £4K, still that's life.

And how much would it cost to make it look like this?

That is interesting as it was sold in auction at Heathfield (not so far from the ebay advertiser) a couple of years ago for something around that sum.

Dropped my boy off at Air Cadets in it yesterday Bob - Stowmarket, a nice 20 mile round trip with a stop-off at Tescos.  It still cheers everyone up when they see a Messerschmitt bombing along or a 6ft 4" lump getting out of one.  The Cadets got a bit twitchy when they saw the name Messerschmitt though, I had to make a quick get-away.
It is still known as Bobs Messerschmitt ;D

I'm just glad to see that you are using it Barry. Also comforting to know its still known as Bobs Messerschmitt!
Which reminds me, its time to get Thumper out of storage as spring is here,  Hurrah!

Isn't wonderful to see that it's past history and old photos are still available.  This is just what the Register of Unusual Microcars was bought into being for, there is no hidden agenda only the hope that future owners can appreciate the history of their cars.  Please help Alastair to keep our records updated. without your help we are wasting our time.  Jean
