Due to a mate getting into old nopeds and wanting me to join him in the fun I am on the look out for one. I rather fancy a Puch MS50. If anyone has something for sale I would appreciate an email. Thanks.

Hi Bob,
Is it a Moped you want or a Noped? ;D Have a look at this .... www.yikebike.com
-
NSU Quickly. My nephew has one.
-
Is it for sale? I dont run the Quickly register, honest!
-
wouldnt be interested in a Brockhouse Corgi at all?predates the moped a bit lol ;D
-
It might be. I will find out and let you know. Big wheels and not speed-restricted like modern ones. It was bought off a fellow in Milton Keynes who does NSU cars and bikes.
-
Would that be Roger Worton? A good man, very helpful and knowledgeable.

It seems that i have inadvertantly supplied a bike to Bob Purton's Essex moped chapter (small world)..... More scuffles on Southend seafront like the sixties ,,,
Incidentally the EACC have runs in Essex, The NACC don't have much in Essex, but many runs in Suffolk ,,,,,of course its only 'over the water' for Nick D's headcorn rally in September
-
Hi Dave. Yes that was funny wasnt it! Its a small world! Steve Leonard is joining our little moped band, I bought a nice little Tomos last week which I will be using so the trio will consist of A Quickly, your old Puch Maxi and the Tomos. Do keep us posted for the Essex ride outs. Cheers, Bob

hi friends, those which are looking for moped, should be at our BSB National Rally ... special display with vintage rare french mopeds, and may be some for sale on swap meet ...
-

Not a Cockhouse Borgir! New a guy who rode one from Bristol to Exeter to see his lady friend, except when he was going home to Bristol. Not surprisingly the relationship failed in direct proportion to the Cockhouse's reliability on the A38. Now if he had bought a Microcar.......
It's fizzy-fest on the forum. Who can blame them when good times are available for those with balance and no weight issues. Are Ariel Three's allowed?
-
Are Ariel Three's allowed?
Oooh YES! Let the Arial Three's in! If ever there was a moped to get me excited, it's one of those, actully, make that two of those, or three or four..... I can never make out why the poor old Arial is so vilified (spelling!) by all, it's a good looking item, it's got the correct amount of wheels to be sensible, and it's DIFFERANT!! I want a blue one with white tyres, but you didn't hear me say that, just in case some damn fool actully offers me one.....
Lets have a virtual moped meet right here on the forum! After all, there's that virtual Goggo meet taking place elsewhere. Lets pretend its Burford in late September with a roadrun at 10am to the A38 to see if that Corgi is still out there. Prizes for shinest kickstart & most inventive story for arriving at a virtual rally! I might even debut the Bamby several months early if anyone picks up on this....
Whadda you mean I'm stark raving bonkers?!...... In fact I'm off right now to find a photo of Thread Bear's chrispy old orange Goggo T250 I've got from years ago to join the virtual Goggo meet. I want that grot award!!!!!!! ;D

Er... because they're bloody dangerous!
-
Click on this sale board and you will see a nice little three wheeler there for you Stuart. All you will need then is a Noddy hat!
http://www.icenicam.ukfsn.org/market.html
Mind you now we know why you are called Fizzer, I wouldnt want to be riding behind you!
-
A cheap Ariel Three Granny killer for young Root there, and the correct colour coded paintwork. Damn fine little chaps and something I can ride. Without paps it might suit our IC specialist as he might need an IC once he has fallen off it! They are not as bad as all that, actually, just a different set of skills. The Honda Stream was a bit of a lift of it, perhaps they are collectable now.
-
One thing I will add, you are meant to be an East Anglia Cyclemotor club member to buy from the club sales board but at just £3.50 membership which includes club news letters its a snip just like microcars club membership once was.

There's a Mobylette AV89 for restoration looking for a good home in my garage in Deal, Kent. The engine runs, complete engine for spares, leg shields, bronze/surface rust colour. No docs but there's an old tax disc which may enable you to reclaim the number on a non-transferable basis. Let me have your email address if you want photos. £100 with a very ratty AV42 (I think) thrown in for good measure.

What about a new Cymotor. Might become available as I have a shed of ex dealer Cyclemotor and Scooter stuff to bid on clearing out, not really my sort of stuff but still great fun task to do and much to learn. It will add to the collection of interesting clutter round here and there are several big ugly German Scooters which I would not mind playing with. There is a smattering of Bubble spares which is why I got the nod in the first place.
I also bought a really very late aircooled Fiat 126 yesterday by accident. It is virtually mint condition so I will put it back on the road but as it has to be taxed I am disinclined to use it. I am sure someone will love it though and tax free status might be possible with some lateral thinking. Certainly far to good to be smashed up which was what was going to happen. I really do not understand some people. It might not have great value but it is worth something more than to be scrapped.

Anyone reading this wanting a Moped: I put details of my nephew's NSU Quickly on RUMCar Mart
-
Marcus, you have it under Sales and auctions, you may want to put it under Rumcar mart as well.
-
Cheers Bob, will co, Roger that!
