Title: Mystery Mopetta
Post by: bruetsch-freak on April 17, 2009, 05:49:11 PM
Few days ago I´ve found this mystery brochure of a german microcar called Mopetta. :o As a Bruetsch enthusiast I´m well informed about the Bruetsch Mopetta so I´m shure this car is not a Bruetsch. (The website I have the picture from told that it is a Bruetsch). The real producer was the german MEGU company. In the 1970s a Swedish firm called Norsjo M.V.A. B. produced a very similar car wich is called the Norsjo Shopper. (find more information about the Norsjo Shopper at: http://www.microcarmuseum.com/tour/norsjo_shopper.html ) Does anybody know more about this Mopetta? Was there a production?

During researchs on the flickr website, I found those fascinating photographs of an Njorso Shopper parked outside. As far I know are there only two survivors without the pictured one. One in the (now closed) Stoery museum in Germany and one wich was owned by Bruce Weiner. Now he sold it to an unkown person. I think it would be pity to leave this rare car at its actual place :-\
