Another Nobel 200
« on: April 14, 2008, 07:03:00 PM »
Nobel 200 wreck. No engine, modified rear suspension, motorbike engine craddle, plus the rear wheel looks odd. Not sure if the vendors son's plan to put a Fireblade engine in it, would have gone down too well.

Looks like someone has made up a whole new rear swingarm assembly for this out of square tubing. Most odd.

When you say rear axle do you mean the cross member that pivots on those two big rubber silent blocs engine mount thingys? If you do it looks like the fabricated swing arm is welded to a new cross member also made from square tube.

Yes Bob, I mean precisely that, the cross member that pivots on the two silent blocs. At first I though he welded the square tube onto it though you're right he's tried to replace it.
