This may be another classified ad scam.
Unless the seller can prove the car is actually in the UK. In which case, it is not a scam but the description is still misleading.
I rather doubt that the previous "owner" "used it every week". The last 2 owners have been dealers and it was on eBay US for almost a year.
This car was repaired and refurbished a bit by a guy (well known microcar dealer) in the USA back in early 2013. The color is really ugly and the green cabrio top was there already.
He took it to an auto auction in Auburn Indiana where he thought he would get big money for it. It sold for a Hammer Price of $19,000
http://auctionsamerica.com/events/feature-lots.cfm?SaleCode=AS13&ID=r668So the buyer (a dealer) paid around $20,500 USD for it. (after added fees)
The car was promptly put on eBay repeatedly from June until the end of 2013 with no bidding going any higher than $22K USD.
I once sent the seller an email asking why he could not sell the car and he replied that he was waiting for people to "wake up!"
It was listed on his website for $39,900. The car is no longer on his website but visible on this archived page:
https://web.archive.org/web/20130822191858/http://classicsbylash.com/inventoryEventually the guy stopped listing it and now it has appeared in the UK by another dealer apparently.
At least it has some different photos, but they appear to be taken at a port with a bunch of other cars waiting to go on a boat to be shipped.
Maybe that is the "storage" that is referred to in the ad?
