Hi there,
It was me looking for triple excelsior , why have you got something for me
-
that's an Excelsior twin from a bike - it has a magneto - sod all use to a Berkeley owner. I also think it is a 250, not a 328.
And, dare I say it, the Americans got more SE492s than we did - let them find their own parts in their own country!
-
WOW !! CALM DOWN CALM DOWN - from merseyside :)
-
Is that the same place where they blew all the Enfield engines up trying to race them?
-
Where ? America, australia or merseyside ?

Amen!

I only thought to flag it up , thinking cylinders , heads, gearbox etc might be in common . If not , no harm done - I hope

Richard
there are very few shared parts between a 250 twin with a mag and a 328 twin with a dinnae start!
-
I meant no harm - don't shout at me :'(

honest, I didn't shout - just voiced an opinion in a polite way. Nonetheless, the engine is as much use as a chocolate teapot.

I found a Frisky with a 250cc Excelsior in it. Think it had a dynostarter though. Up near Tetbury.
-
Any more info on that frisky. Big al.
Type, condition, working, in bits
Cheers in advance
-
I see als not here at present and you may be awaiting a reply bobbydog - I got the impression that al was talking historically . That frisky could be 30 years ago - or more. :)

Yes, Richard is right. It would have been pre death of Diana as I recall a quip about popping round for tea (bit complicated but Mark Phillips is my second cousin so always ragged about invites to Gloucester Royals). John might know of this car as it has moved? Then again very sketchy info. It was complete as I recall.
