$ 2,000 doesn't sound to bad to me for a car in remarkable condition and definetly a RUM i had never heard of before. would this be road legal ?

Certainly looks like it was intended to be, plus the original road test reads something about, the economy minded apartment dweller driving to the golf course.

That is the starting bid with reserve not met, the actual price is probably more like $12,500

The last page of the scanned brochure claims "The Safari is also licensable, while most golf cars are not. It will travel to and from the links at 40 to 50 mph, too."
The dealer stamp on that same page indicates that the local distributors for Lincoln, Nebraska, were to be found on Buckboard Road....
