"Now if I was into microcars rather than old triporteurs, I'd forget about all those ugly french 70's things  :) and buy this."

What? An ugly Italian 60's thing?   ;D :-*

Joking aside, I like this! When I first saw the pictures  :o I thought it was a messed-about-with AC Acedes Mk 15 or Model 70 untill I relised it was made of steel and located in Italy. Anybody know anything about this thing, such as what exacly is it? How Old? What engine? What's missing?

Possibly treading on dangerus ground with this next question, but anybody also got any experiance of importing cars from Italy? What's involved and what would it cost?

Looking at the rust coming through the paintwork, beware! Clean the paint off and you have large holes. As per Gordon's pattern panels. Welding costs a lot of money done properly!  ;D

shipping - north and central italy about £450- £500 for a microcar.

bear in mind though that Milan to south of Italy is same distance as UK to Milan!

i haven't checked where this one is.

my shipper won't go down south, but last time i sold a vintage m/c to south of italy, we delivered to a company in milan, and the guy arranged the transport direct from there south.

in my experience, italian ebay is generally more expensive than german ebay, which is why i sell on it rather than buy. but they do have some good stuff.

What an awsome looking machine, I agree with Stuart it kind of looks like an invalid vehicle. I'm tempted though I think it's a case of hiring a van and driving to Italy.

This microcar is looking fantastic. Seems a bit like a german dodgem car from the sixties.
So beware, every foreign empty trailer whats going to Italy, wants to pick up the same stuff !!  ;)

Pick it up with a van? Pick it up with a trailer? Why not do the obvius and DRIVE it home?!!!!!  :o After all, it is nearly Drive It Day and it only needs two rear wheels from where I'm standing!!!!!  ;D Just think of it as a fortnight's holiday, the wind in your hairpeice, the open road ahead of you. You could scatter rust all over Europe and even pop in on Tavid on the way.  :-*

Possibly the most fabulous person in the universe...   ???  Well, it can't be this Universe! Which one are you really from Stuart? Does the I.C.I. come from another Planet? Is a Peel square? Did you have a good Easter Mate?  Rob  ;D
Had another look at the trike. It seems to have only one door that opens on the English side. A bit dangerous if you climb out in Italy, right into the traffic flow.

Thought that statement would get you all going.  ;D Mind you peelpower, it'll proberbly need that white van to push it over the Alps. But if they could do it with an Argson De Luxe in 1947, I don't see why it can't be done today with something like this. Or have we all gone soft?  ;D

Which universe am I from? Humm, which indeed.  ??? Answers on an invalid carriage photo everybody....... Most of this Easter was spent chasing up leads for future articles and starting the Summer  8) issue's I.C.R page. Oh, and falling in love with this thing! How about eveyone else.

I noticed the door as well. Presume this thing actully is Italian??? Anyone rekon the engine would be about 125cc? The more I look at it, the more I see Harper Mk 6 in it.
