Be there or be square :) helping Mike Shepherd Green field G196 , easy to remember as Nimrod says its one less than a Villiers ;D . Weather set fair for a very enjoyable weekend

Yeah I'll be there.

See you there , pack your sunscreen :)

Crumbs. They had the knives out for this at clubnight, I did not say a thing. Seems to be a polarising event for some reason. Plenty go and enjoy it in differing ways, otherwise ignore it. I had a legitimate axe to grind, long and old story - buy the book, but now we have moved to a general hate campaign. Bit unfair without grounds to base it on, though I am not council for the defence. Hope the weather is as ordered and the chips are good in Lymington. Prediction, there will be invalid carriage stuff for sale, as the trade has caught up.

Great weather , had a great day and found a few bits , Scootacar, frisky and Peel hopefully more tomorrow and Sunday . Don't bother Planty we've got it all ;D just getting our fish and chips and looking good :)

Well I found a pair of new , but not necessarily factory made , side screens for my Bond D as well . A pair of early rear lenses off Landrovers / TVR which I believe are rare . Also can anyone give me chapter and verse on the CORRECT headlights on a Peel Trident ? Thanks Oh and at last minute - and for no good reason - I bought an odd vintage motorcycle sidecar chassis with a disc wheel not spoked . As usual I love the unusual :) why solid wheel does anyone know their sidecars ?
-
I can just see you and Mike as Wallace and Grommet sporting a sidecar outfit! ;D
Looks like you were fortunate with the weather last weekend, its turning wet this week and not looking good for the Enfield Pageant.
-
cheeky ! ;D i do love bikes , and wallace ang grommit so it figures - some of the bits :)
-
I had a Panther Combo in the 1960s that I fitted a new sidecar chassis with a solid 18"? wheel, bought from that great 'bike shop Pride & Clarke when the original started to fall apart.
-
That's not a side car it's a side bike :)
-
and this Rob appears to be very similar with a 3.00 x 16 tyre . and i was assured by a " sidecar man " at Beaulieu that it must have been a bodge and it certainly doesnt look like one . Thanks for the reassurance . Disc wheel for the heavier load as cant find any pics such as yours on t'net . my i post your pic with credits elsewhere Rob ? Sorry appreciate this now gone very OT - in at least two ways ;)

There were a few sidecars with solid wheels. Possibly one of the Canterbury range?

thanks again those look just like my wheel and chassis so that's what I bought :). When it comes to passing it on , or trying too, i assume there will be more chassis than bodies left anyway ?
-
Just to finish on this one the chassis found a buyer a few weeks ago at a good price ;) I just had to take it up to York in the boot which I am doing tomorrow . Last time I was up here I was picking up something I had bought and was a collect only so this travelling has its advantages as well :)
