any German speakers to tell us what it says

more

I think it says something about, because of limited legroom it should only be used for short distances, then it bangs on about what engine it's powered by.
-
So a car with a lot of legroom should be used for long distances? Love the media...........
-
another car with more brochures than production ?
-
not many , 150 ?, hoffmans were built i think. the last photo showed the right hand opening door . this photo shows a left hand opening door - odd
-
Most of you will know what I am going to say next.
The full story of the Hoffmann was published in th Autumn 2012 edition of Rumcar News.

Dear Richard
If you look at the pictures you will see that they are not the same car, They are different colours and the windscreen wiper is in a slightly different position.
The same number plate appears on all the publicity shots. There were several prototype cars each with a slightly different arrangement, left door, 2 doors, left hand drive and right hand drive. I think it was 4 prototype cars in all.

Got it . I never imagined for a minute that they were the same car - do you take me for an idiot :)not actually same plate , even if same fictional number
-
I would be interested in a Hoffman Delta. Something to get all in a flap over driving. Damn complicated ashtray lid.
An interesting pair of prototype cars, being as production of others was made to the loss of those pictured. However Dornier made some more vehicle experiments which are microcars.

Dear Richard
Well spotted re the number plate.
I am afraid my sense of humour can be a little on the obvious side. I do appologise if it sounds cruel.

-
Not phased by it chris - as they say I have been insulted by better men than you ;D that's what these old pics are for - nerdy spotting
-
Dear Richard
Nerdy Spotting sounds like a medical complaint!

It is. Recommended treatment is to bind the infected person in an anorak and supply hot sweet tea until an NHS insultant can be found.
-
back to the Dornier Delta prototype then - nerds at the ready ?
