Apparently taken in the 1960s by Aeroflot pilots. The Thames is now more-or-less walled in by huge housing and office developments.
Near the bottom of the page are pic links which scroll through several pages, one of these has 10 wheeled machines, including a road going Boeing 727

No micros on my link, just thought the scenes might be interesting to anyone interested in old vehicles, and there IS a IC there for Stuart!

Second picture down the back end of that blue thing... A few weeks back I spied a new magazine, can't remember the name of it and not sure how long it's been running, but the whole thing is made up of old street shots and on one of the pages is a Frisky...
