Astra out from obscurity.
« on: October 24, 2009, 11:04:05 AM »
I see the Astra utility is out from obscurity once more, now residing in a dealers ad on pg125 of Practical Classics. I wonder if it retains it’s original number or were the rumours true that it had been sold on.

the motorcycle dealer that had it up for sale before was a well known plate stripper,so i would have thought it likely

Strange, but then again most people who like classic cars get that way out of nostagia for ones they, their relatives, friends, neighbours used to own. Or cars they saw in films, magazines and on the road. Only a few people go purely for rarity, but I hope this does get preserved.
