My neighbour has a lovely Triumph TR3 B (a small batch of TR 3As with TR4 engines made just for America). I once went with him to the Triumph Club (the cars, not the bras) International, for some driving events the cars had to be driven to the venue to qualify. As we approached by the cross-country route we spotted several cars being rolled off trailers around the corners and out of site of check in, so they would only have to drive a few hundred yards. In the concourse itself lots of never-used cars were displayed surrounded by artistic displays of never-used tools and accessories, even cleaning and polishing sundries were in un-opened bags...one set for use, one set for display. Very sad!
