Apparently Innocenti produced!

No idea what it would be classed as, because the main part is a scooter, and just has a front cabin.

Reminds me of the Bedilier (or whatever its called) where the driver sits behind the passenger!

IT cannot be a combination because it looks nothing like those that hung on Granny's washing line. Cabin scooter? I have seen pics of several hybrids of this layout, some for cargo some for passengers. One early London Taxi (Vauxhall?) had the passengers in the front cabin, and the driver sat high up at the back trying to get a good view over the roof, apparently quite scary for the passengers as they never knew if the driver had spotted an obstacle or corner. France and Italy both did a few oddities like this. The Bedelia did have a similar layout for occupants (as did quite a number of veteran cars) but was designed from scratch as a complete vehicle (like Inter), rather than being a hybrid of scooter rear, side-car front.

I like it.

The taxi thing might go back to the Handsome Cab, as seen in proper Sherlock Holmes etc.

It was exactly that! Nick Georgno's little Shire Book about London Taxis is a great read, as are most Shire books, they have another on 3 Wheelers and one about Morgans.
Apparently passengers always felt safe when there was a horse or two clopping away in front of them as a horse will avoid collisions even if the driver is asleep. but when they were stuck in front and completely unable to see the driver it was very unsettling.

I think it's a microcar, there were plenty of early cars where only the passengers had the benefit of a roof. It's a bit ike the Pashley three-wheelers in Tony Marshall's book.

Yup, I also thought of the Motor-Cycle-based Pashley. Could they perhaps be called "Cabin Motorcycles"?
