Title: Scootacar and kr200 found in barn!
Post by: Jonathan Poll on July 21, 2011, 08:12:03 PM
Hello,

During our long trip, we saw these 2 cars in a barn!

Just enjoy the pics!

Sad thing is, the owner did not want to sell any of them...

They both seem to be in original condition, and they are mint!

That's sad, they would be better out and about turning heads!

Like a good SAS soldier?

Other peoples sheds, always more interesting than your own. If I had minters I would not be selling either. Pointless having a good shed if you have nothing of interest to put in it. That is the sort of thing accountants do.

Number plate on the back of the Scootacar looks Swiss from here....   ;)   Trouble is, these days if you post shed pics, you get people pestering, or worse, poking. I'm actually surprised you were allowed to put those photos up myself.

Easy. Around the cars in the picture, yey hey!

If the cars are Swiss they will have girt bells on the front which Jonners is not showing us, cunning young devil.

Ok, Ok, joke is over.

  You lot made me laugh!

We did not find these, we just saw them.

After our lovely trip to the Finnish microcar rally, we went to see Anders Johnsson in Sweden. He showed us his cars, including his 1955 Schmitt, chassis n'8!

Sorry for the joke, just couldnt resist ;)

To make up for it, here are some 'proper' photos.

We all had a fun trip, seeing Anders and his family. We spent 3 days together, went Moose spotting, went to a giant American car meeting (biggest in the world, 17 000 cars!), and also saw a load of vintage bentleys. The first car we saw with the Bentleys was in fact a Fulda! It was a big suprise, it was Goran Helsing.
