Title: Maico 500
Post by: Rusty Chrome (Malcolm Parker) on April 19, 2013, 07:47:05 PM
Unusual car in an unusual location, shame it's just a bit off the beaten track. There's a Mk C Bond Minicar listed as well.

Looked intriguing, so I spent quiet some time following up.
Here is what I found; Phone number no good, owner not responding to requests for detailed information (I asked him to make a simple measurement), price more than a bit too reasonable.
All the earmarks that this Junkmail website warns you are characteristic of fake cars for sale.
They also say that 99% of these are accompanied by pictures.
Looks like I lost most of a night's sleep for nothing, except possibly saving you from the same. >:(

Oh dear! Still all good experience and twice shy now for the next attempt with something a little tasty. Maybe there is a Miaco looking for a home. Historically they do not seem to be avidly sought.
