I had a look at a regal today. It has been in a barn for 20 years after the A frame rusted through. The rest was thought to be in fair condition. When I got there it had deteriorated more that the owner had though :-(.
He has a spare A frame in good condition.
The chassis is bad where I could see it. Under the drivers side door the bottom of the chassis has completely gone in places. The other side is not visible where the car is currently parked. The bit I could feel seemed OK, but I suspect there will be bad areas.
The body is sound with pealing paint. The front bumper had had a small knock.
The interior is all there but quite rough.
The engine was running when stored so may still be good.
He also has a 700 engine and gearbox, condition unknown. Has been stored for a long time. Looks ok lots of dirt dropped into the carb.
