2 Nobels, different sellers, one runner one project. It will be interesting to see which sells for what, as there seems to be renewed interest in these cars.

Could we be talking up Nobel prices here young Blobster? A vested interest maybe? :D :D
I think you are right, all microcar prices appear to be holding there own dispite the recession.

I'd come to there conclusion that £3500 was good for an A1 Nobel but then as we know one went for £5000 and didn't one sell for $10,000 in the US.

I sold mine old one for £2500 back in 1996 so they should be worth a lot more now.

One good reason the price has to go up is there are more better examples about and that Sachs engine lurks underneath. A wreck will therefore start at £1000 now. Thus a good example needs to be worth something to save anymore Nobs loosing their engines. I would like to try a Heinkel four wheeled version - Attica or Attila I forget. I had a trike Nob with a 175 unit in and that was better than the Sachs in many ways but it was a bodge up. This car had a defuser/spoiler on it and I believe was restored. Ought to dig out the pics. I just wonder if the four wheels improves the handling.

Twin rears are bound to improve handling a certain amount even if they are close together because there will be effectively double the tyre wall stiffness, as well as the better spread of weight and cornering forces. I understand that Nobel 3s are a bit wayward due to their size and weight, so theoretically the 4s should be somewhat better.

I see both ebay cars sold. £3900 for the together one and £1170 for the other, the price of an engine. I think they are yet to have there day.

Well there you go. I just sold a Nobel I would say was better complete with fresh MOT for £3,500 so that underwrites the price there for a nice Nob. Not a lot of money compared to other cars. I wonder what Martin will want for his, I guess £5K.
