I've got Alan evans old Bamby that was all in bits, did anyone drive one for any length of time to tell me any issues or mods they done ? Also I'm looking for a wing mirror and 6v wiper motor for it , any help ?
-
Eer, I decided its not a car to drive. Its one to look at, and call George (after loving and petting it, of course). The mod was to stick it on a shelf out of the way, and get a completely different car parked in its place. I am not helping much. am I. Going away.
-
I will try make this one the only driving Bamby out there then
-
I think the most important thing is to enjoy it. Looking forward to seeing it in due course.
-
Shell looking better, but how did it get from red to blue with white double pin stripe thinned out by rubbing?
-
I just sanded the old cracked gel coat down abit and painted with a brush to make tidy, just want it to be clean and usable
-
Still curious as to the genesis of the partially rubbed out appearing, thin double white pinstripe.

Reflection, where the body has a crease line?

Have I been seduced by an optical illusion?

A Bamby, like an aging woman, needs make up to find a wealthy partner. Take care against apparently shiny small cars. They are after your wallet!
-
Make up was pretty bad to be honest and my wallet is not impressive but my skill will make it a "nice " driver

Looking good Steve!
What engine are you fitting?
Grommet
-
Looking really good!
-
Cheers , just keeping same engine for abit , just wanted it running and I will get back on the trident
-
Have you registered it with Alastair yet Steve? Especially if its the only one running! Jean
-
I haven't done as I thought it would already be on there as it use to be Alan Evans one , surely it can't be the only running one !
-
Check with Alastair because it is most important that he is aware of it's new owner anyway. I must admit I could not find the registration number listed! I don't hear much about what is on the road and what isn't theses day now I am not so deeply involved in running things these days but it could very well be the only original one on the road now. Jean
