I would like to buy your Mopetta. What condition is it in?
Unfortunately I do not have a P50 to swap. Looks like you already have a P50 though.
Would you sell the Mopetta for cash -  and how much?

Hello Trident, thank you for your interest in the Mopetta. It is in a very good condotion. Genuine 3 speed gear box. Good starter etc. I rather  like to swap the Mopetta for a Peel P50, although i already have one. Comparing Mopetta pizes, look at the RM auction please. Maybe i should be open for an offer

Regards

Ferdi

Perhaps stuarts a secret millionaire and his original Peel is just hiding , very well, beneath a cloak of Carterism in order to keep us in the dark  ;)

If I had the dosh I would prefer German built stuff to IOM/British. Have left off the Great because we aint anymore.  Yes, I do know the Peel has a German engine.

That's all your generations fault  :) not us youngsters. Remember all those postal strikes ? That was rob when he wanted a day off to paimt his Tourette  ;D Back in the Good Old 1970's

Your facts are wrong again Richard.  The GPO strikes that I reluctantly were in was 1st. 1971 and 2nd. 1988. I came out of the Union after the second. I didn't own theTourette and the other cars untill 1976.  My generation? I'm only a few years older than you!

Richard, have you ever heard the expression; "Many a true word spoken in jest..."?  Those who think they know, very often don't know even half of it, such as why I rushed off to Deal, via Sandwich quite as quick as I did and why I spent as much as I did....

I wasn' t far off the mark though and I was still at school till 1975 working by candlelight due to the GREAT BRITISH strikers

confused stuart , i was convinced that you had an original Peel then was told it was a carter and i thought al said he had led us all down the garden path  :) so you did get an original one - good on you . and i half suspected you have been keeping it under a cloak of mystery . why did you never tell us more about it ? could you now ?
