Its Jammy to be chuffed?
Translation please to American English if possible.
p.s While were on the subject- anybody have a Nobel headlamp switch? I rebuilt mine, but the headlamps tend to flicker or dim when I go over bumps unless I regularly push/pull the switch shaft out to a slightly different lengths to keep its contacts in their sweet spot.
Jammy is lucky or fortunate. To have a crust is good , to have jam on it is a bonus! [I think in the rebel colonies you call jam jello] Chuffed is feeling quite pleased with ones self.
No, Jello is English Jelly, and Yankee Jelly is Jam. But then one or the other Jam/jelly in American has seeds, the other not. Which is which is too confusing.
