Yes, it's a Heinkel 150 converted

but a Heinkel 150 is a scooter that is some conversion !  :)

perhaps its a 153 that was the bubble that we know

I chequed and it does say's Heinkel 150 from 1958. It last changed owner in 2011 so must still be around!

Hi Richard
               How little you know - the Model 150 was 175cc and the model 153 was the 204cc ( later the 198cc ). The Heinkel factory stopped producing cars in 1958, tranferiing half the tools to Ireland and the other half to Argentina, they continued to produce engins for the Irish built cars but stopped sending them to Argentina because of the poor quality of the cars produced out there.

confusing- my excuse i'm not well  :-[  

so a Heinkel 150 can mean a 1950's three wheeler OR a 1960's scooter , in this case obviously the former - sorry

I like some of the other photos in the same collection - for example, the Goggo Dart with "Eat my smoke" written on the back...
