Title: Another Goggo on ebay
Post by: Peelpower on March 09, 2008, 01:15:41 pm
Here we have a 1961 Goggo saloon. Looks nice, and a lot of restauration work is done.
I love the suicide doors, or as we also call them Chicken catcher doors ;D

Hi

This one is on at least it's 3rd time listed on Ebay, I wonder if the reserve is less this time or as the weather gets better, the seller hopes there is more interest?

 :)

I like that expression Ferdi, " Chicken catcher doors"! It makes a lot of sence really, what better way of catching ones chickens that have escaped onto the road.

No Ferdi, never heard the term before! Obviously you know we call them suicide doors as you used the expression in your first posting.

Ages  ago i mentioned the chicken catcher doors at the national rally at Weston Park. We all were laughing about. Afterwards a Goggodriver tried to catch a wild chicken, or was it a duck, in the park whilst we drove back from a  local pub.
Normally we  also call them suicide doors .
