Title: Piaggio Typhoon Trike
Post by: Chris Thomas on July 12, 2008, 11:35:30 am
Dear Friends who like weird and wonderful little vehicles

This was seen on ebay

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/piaggio-typhoon-trike_W0QQitemZ110268267048QQcmdZViewItem?hash=item110268267048&_trksid=p3286.m14.l1318

Is it a scooter or a Microcar?

Oooh, now that's interesting; a late-model SV (Special Vehicles) Nippi wheelchair trike in a state of undress, allowing us to see how it all works. JUST the sort of pictures I need for a future Conveyancer article.....   :-*

Nick Devonport has an earlier model built on a Honda Melody.

Neither! It's an invalid carriage!   ;D

It was actully, but it's lost its proper fibreglass bodywork and has been messed about a bit since then. I also reckon it's had a replacement engine/power unit due to the presence of the original motorcycle seat. The SV factury would have discarded that.
