Title: What a cracking little car!
Post by: Bob Purton on April 10, 2009, 01:58:38 pm
This one pushes all the right buttons for me, bubble window, four wheels, LHD Z bar trim etc etc. Is anyone seriously likely to pay this price though? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/BMW-ISETTA-300-1956-ALL-ORIGINAL-ONLY-27k-MILES-V-RARE_W0QQitemZ180344128876QQihZ008QQcategoryZ31357QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

I am not a great fan of Isettas, but that one DOES look about as good as poss. Interesting that it is a US model but down in Wimbourne. People down there can afford that price! Sometime I want to drive my Trojan around nearby Sandbanks and see what the reaction is from all the fancy folk there (there are millionaires, billionnaires, squillionnaires, godzillionnaires, and also some rich people in Sandbanks).

Go for it Bob, you know you want to!

Yes, it looks like someone has imported it and is trying to recover there costs [and make a 100% profit as well]. I would love it Marcus but I'm not a squillionaire and you know me, I would end up doing the unforgivable and restore it!
